Quality Genetics for your herd...ed Black Angus

....handled with care

We started our herd with high quality females, descendants from top 10% sires, calved by Artificial Insemination.  Then we carefully select sires for each female to make the best quality calves.

We are a seed-stock producing ranch.  

We select sires for breeding based on Low Birth Weight, High Wean Weight, High Yearling Weight, High Milk Quality, and Beef Value.  We register our herd  with the American Angus Association, we record birth weights, wean weights and breeding information.  Calm temperament is also a characteristic we desire.

We follow Temple Grandin’s philosophy of animal welfare and handle our animals with care.

We believe that stress-free animal handling

is worthwhile for both animal and rancher.
