Mother cows are our priority. We start with AI cows, from top 10% genetics.
We breed so that their daughters are always better than their mothers. Individually matching each cow to the AI sire that is the best fit for areas she might be improved upon or areas we would like to see exceptional performance.
Low birthweight is our first priority, we have not EVER pulled a calf. We look at MILK since it is directly related to high calf weanweight and yearling weight. Then we value ribeye, marbling and beef value. Our entire herd beef value is over $50.00 over average Angus registrations.
